We have arrived at the Sittler's!! This is another destination that we've all been looking forward to. How nice it is to stay in a house, their house actually. We have 3 boys in a bedroom, 3 girls in a different bedroom and 3 boys in a trailor – they are gracious people to invite us to stay with them. We woke up to 3 little people whispering in the room beside us playing legos early in the morning. Breakfast was homemade oatmeal and muffins, homemade, something that is a treat after 3 weeks on the road. We packed up sandwiches and the kids and headed to Lighthouse Park where the kids explored the rocky shores, especially fun when you have a friend with you that you haven't seen in almost a year. We hiked at Lynn Valley Canyon and went over a suspension bridge. The kids loved this, especially trying to rock the bridge when the mom's crossed! :) On the way home we toured through Stanley Park, and downtown Vancouver. Everyone is eager to return “home” (Sittler's) to watch a movie, something we haven't done in awhile. This is the beauty of friends – just being. Thank you guys. Lastly, we had the pleasure of celebrating Daniel's 13th birthday with him. A fun supper of pizza, root beer and lots of laughing. God bless you Daniel as you continue to follow Him.

in the raging water below...the salmon were not jumping, but we did enjoy the salmon berry blooms that followed us on the trail.... |
Isaiah, did you loose a tooth while on hoildays? You look so cute in the pool. It did look cold and rainy when you left Vancover glad I didn't have to get up that early. Enjoy the rest of your trip guys. Praying for safe travel and fun.
